| Ref and Player trainees both are
required to attend 5 live classes to under go "Game Simulations", which
will last for approx. 1 hour each. Ref Trainees will set up and ref the
match, while players will be split into teams, both refs and players will
be under the supervision of Prof. Blue or one of her helpers. *If you are
also training to run Snitch program, you should attend an additional 5
classes/game sims to qualify to ref Snitch.
If you are training for both Player
and Ref, you should attend at the minimum of 10 game sims - 5 for your
ref qualification and 5 as a player. (Or 15 if you are also training to
ref snitch - 5 for quaffle ref qualification; 5 for snitch ref qualification;
and 5 for player portion of these lessons.)
WQL Players will need 5 player game
sims (yes, you can use your seminar game sims) in order to qualify for
WQL quidditch.
Game Simulations are vital to this
class. It will show me who is able to successfully run a game, how many
people understand the rules, and help with bonding! *g*
In order to have a successful "game
sim" we need to have at the very minimum 6 players on hand to play quaffle
(3 to a team). Below you will find the times available to attend the game
sims. If you can come to MORE THAN 5, then please do so, to fill in in
case there are not enough players. :)
In order to "sign up" for the game
sims - if you want to be the Student Ref at any of the times, please send
me an email to reserve your place - indicate which dates/times you would
like. Same with Seeker Trainees. All other "players" - also send me an
email indicating which game sims you are interested in. I encourage all
Ref Trainees and Players to also show up for other Game Sims if possible,
just in case we need more players.
